My first blog…what to say?? I’ve been asking myself that question all week. The answer is still pretty vague as I sit here and type. There was a time when I could sit and write for hours…poetry, short stories, letters to friends, or whatever. Of course, that was about 30 to 35 years ago. I guess when you don’t use your skills you lose your skills. We shall see.
So, I’ve set out on this journey to find myself. I stumbled onto the Master Key Master Mind Alliance either by accident or by fate. I’m not really sure which one yet. However, I plan to pursue this until it’s done. There’s accountability and support, both of which I’ve been desperately looking for in regards to my personal development and in finding what my major purpose in life is.
This week has been full of bumps and trials…finding the right time to read and completing tasks on time while trying to keep up with a full-time job, daily household chores, checking in with my beautiful daughter, and spending time with my wonderful husband. Somehow, I’ve managed to meet all my deadlines for Week 1 with this post being the last of my tasks.
The Master Keys Part 1 – 38 states, “All growth is from within. This is evident in all nature. Every plant, every animal, every human is a living testimony to this great law, and the error of the ages is in looking for strength or power from without.” As I go forward, I will remember this, and I will follow the instructions from Mandino in Scroll I. As the days and weeks pass, I will uncover my world within and replace bad habits with good ones; I will find me; and my world without will become anew.
