Week 12 – The Greatest Gifts

The greatest gifts of our lives are those that we are born with…the power to think and the power to love.

We all have an infinite ability to think, which means we have unlimited creative power. If we find ways to eliminate the negative thoughts and fears, our positive thoughts will build for us those things that we desire, if they are in harmony with those around us.

Focus is also key in bringing that which you wish to have into existence. You cannot have one desire today and another tomorrow and expect anything to come of it. You have to have a definite vision of that one burning desire and pursue it relentlessly to stay on the path to your definiteness of purpose. Haanel states in The Master Key System, “There are three steps, and each one is absolutely essential. You must first have the knowledge of your power; second, the courage to dare; third, the faith to do.”

Greatest Gifts

The Law of Attraction, or Love, gives thought its dynamic power. These two greatest gifts…thought and love…have a mutual relationship in which one depends on the other. Haanel states, “Thought impregnated with love becomes invincible.” Bonded together, thought and love will unveil to you that which you seek. It is an irresistible force. If you prepare yourself to accept new ideas, focus daily with persistence, and consistently practice good positive habits, you will bring that burning desire into manifestation.

I was amazed when I was first told that most people who do everything else correctly to manifest desires don’t know how to receive them, and hence do not realize them. Haanel confirms this – as you do. Great insight.

Intellectually, I understand the concept of thought and love being invincible, but the practical application is elusive. I think I’m going to gain more understanding in future weeks, and I’m so looking forward to it.

I have so much concrete to chip away.

(And I see you got this done way before daybreak! You go, Shirley!)

Thank you, Shirley, for this post, which helps me feel extra-grateful for having the knowledge of my power. I don’t have a big need for worldly power, but one of my PPNs is Spiritual Growth, which will happen faster now, thanks to this MKMMA Experience and wise students like you!
