Week 19 – Moral or Immoral

Moral, or Immoral…what is your world?

Red or Blue

In this week’s lesson, I know that Haanel is trying to state how we can manifest the good things in life, and I believe that he is right. However, when he speaks of the expressions that serve to place extremes in contrast, he only speaks of half the truth. Take this paragraph, for instance, that talks of a Moral World:

(Haanel 19-8) In the Moral World we again find the same law; we speak of Good and Evil, but Good is a reality, something tangible, while Evil is found to be simply a negative condition, the absence of Good. Evil is sometimes thought to be a very real condition, but it has no principle, no vitality, no life; we know this because it can always be destroyed by Good; just as Truth destroys Error and light destroys darkness, so Evil vanishes when Good appears; there is therefore but one principle in the Moral World.

If Haanel had painted the entire picture, he would have also written a paragraph that goes something like this:

In the Immoral World we again find the same law; we speak of evil and good, but Evil is a reality, something tangible, while Good is found to be simply a positive condition, the absence of Evil. Good is sometimes thought to be a very real condition, but is has no principle, no vitality, no life; we know this because it can always be destroyed by Evil; just as Error destroys Truth and darkness destroys light, so Good vanishes when Evil appears; there is therefore but one principle in the Immoral World.

I realize that Haanel was most likely attempting to avoid negative words because in truth, negative thoughts and actions are not right thinking. However, people have been influenced by so many others in life that they need reminding of both the Moral and Immoral paths. There is evil on this Earth, and it is real. We have to face it, and eliminate it.

You see, life is all about your choices. Will you promote an Immoral World where fear roams freely, where people are hurt physically & mentally by others, and where your actions lead you to sickness and despair? Or will you promote a Moral World by uplifting all those around you with love & encouragement, being there for family & friends when in need of assistance, and living life with positive thoughts in a manner that extends the miracle of your birth?

Moral or Immoral

The truth and power are in your thoughts. My wish for you is that you choose to entertain the Good and only the Good. We are all connected to the Universal. What you do reflects on those that are around you. So, spread the Good…the love, the encouragement, the gratitude. You will forever be grateful.

Clear layout of the facts, the truth and the only real choice for those seeking the cause of all effects in the human condition. The balance to those who have this knowledge is shifting; what a great movement to be a part of, spread the word for and observe as it blossoms! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and insights 🙂

I’ve been thinking similar things along the lines of the Soviet Union served a useful purpose – to teach Americans how poorly the theories of Socialism translate to the real world. Without that real world example of the short-comings of that philosophy, our youth lack an understanding of its failures to manifest.

As such, we need to look to the Good, Moral world much like A Christmas Carol. We have choices. We can think the Good into existence. Failure to do so, results in the opposite.

As much as I want to only acknowledge the Good, I understand failure to acknowledge has not made to Evil go away. We must work to expand the Good, Moral world.
